Naloxone Training

In partnership with Alpha House Calgary, RadiCare offers Naloxone training designed to equip teams across Calgary with the skills to recognize and respond to opioid poisonings. Our sessions are practical, hands-on, and grounded in harm reduction — preparing your staff to act with confidence in real-world public spaces.

Each training session covers:

• Recognizing opioid poisoning including signs, symptoms, and when to act
• Hands-on Naloxone administration covering kit handling, dosage, and follow-up steps
• Customizable formats tailored for BIAs, security teams, retail staff, and community partners
• Trauma-informed engagement through optional pairing with Alpha House's Engaging Vulnerable Persons program
• Practical de-escalation tools for compassionate interactions in urban environments
